Shopping Mall Feng Shui (Re-blog from www.yxlfengshui.com)


My student (XKLF house selection course) bought me a drink after additional tuition to clear her doubts on ‘Seeing’ FS. We were at a fast food restaurant in this shopping mall. She lived nearby and was familiar with this mall. This mall used to be ‘lifeless’ for quite a while until the building of the condominium(right side of mall) and today you see cars queuing into the mall. Somehow, our conversation led me to share with her the FS of this mall.


I never expect my blog post on Naked Eye is being followed by a practitioner (I guess). Some time last year, he responded quoting this mall as an example on his view and we had a few exchanges over the email.
Refer to the snapshot (black & white pic) provided by him. Before the condo was constructed, the Tiger side (right side) of the mall is an empty field (void), therefore Yang. The Dragon side (left side) fall on built up area therefore Yin. Hence this mall does not conform to Tiger needs Yin, and Dragon needs Yang. As the Dragon side represent wealth making this explained why the mall is not prosperous.
He proposed to change the façade (Main entrance) to face the field such that the Dragon side will fall on the main road which is Yang. The Tiger side of the mall would fall on the built up area (landed properties) which is Yin. This orientation ensures Yin Yang balance and because Dragon side is now Yang, it will promote wealth making. This is the corrective action he would recommend to the management back then.
As for today, the façade of the mall remains as it is when the condo is being built on the mall’s right side. He explained the form arrangement today conforms to Tiger need Yin principle. The road at the mall left side conform to Dragon side need Yang which usher wealth making. The entire setting is now Yin Yang balance and that is why the business picked up and become prosperous.

Do you agree with him?
I believe a no-brainer would credit it to the condo developer for bringing ‘life’ to this area

Subject consistency

The road at the left of mall exists all these while. But it was first brought up to justify Dragon side become Yang when the condo was built. However, before the construction of the condo, the built area on the Dragon side was referred instead. So which should be the subject: the road or built up area?
Although the right side of the mall is a condo block but what about the empty space between them? If the road is perceived as Yang, shouldn’t the empty space be considered and seen as Tiger Yang rather than Tiger Yin?
The point of this sharing is not to fault other’s theory. The intention is to raise awareness on the importance of thinking critically when applying Naked eye theory. Many practitioner makes this type of mistakes especially when comes to subject consistency.

What is my take on this the mall FS?
As usual I am unable to share my answer here but I will share with you the logical puzzle pieces:
  1. The 4 celestial animal form is not the reason why this mall kick back to life
  2. The main road gradient down from left to right of mall. If you think this mall is receiving Qi from a water mouth, you have just entered a FS blind spot that most practitioner would have.
  3. The mall pales even though refurbishment was completed in 2009. If your answer is because of the arrival of flying star 2 at the façade, you have just entered another blind spot noting that #8 arrival in 2012 does not revive mall too
  4. If you blame it on the renovation start date and timing, you have just entered a ‘black hole’. The point is the mall revive itself when the condo was completed.
  5. In XKLF there are 4 techniques: Ci Xiong Jue(雌雄诀), Jin Long Jue(金龍诀), Ai Xing Jue(挨星诀) and Cheng Men Jue(城门诀). Why is there a need for Tai Sui Fa(太岁法)?
  6. Have you ever wondered if the building of the condo and the mall revival appears to be a coincidence
Think about the puzzles especially point 5 and 6 which is the key to why the mall revived. Perhaps we should think like a no-brainier and give credit to the condo developer too!

XKLF House Selection Course (Re-blog from www.yxlfengshui.com)

The XKLF House selection course is now opened for registration!

What is it?
A practical centric course that does not involve complex theory but is specifically designed for property seekers whether it is for business, residential or for investment.

Who doesn’t want to prosper?
It is a fact that many property seekers will include some aspect of Feng Shui considerations in their decisions:

Form
Very often we are advised to avoid malefic forms such as facing lift, T-junction, wall edges, pillars ....
Some who have a little more exposure to Feng Shui will look for houses that have unblocked façade (明堂) and strong back support (靠山). On the other hand having a higher ground or building on the right (White Tiger白虎) of the house tends to promote petty people (小人) and should be avoided if possible.

Facing
Generally people prefer North South facing to minimize the tropical heat. Some will go for a particular facing that harmonized with their Bazi and some may insist a facing such that their door and stove will be sitting on auspicious Qi (氣) sector!

Floor plan
Some will conscientiously study the floor plans isolating odd shaped units that have large missing or protruding sectors. To some toilet located at the center of the house is unacceptable.

Unit #
Property seekers tends to be picky with the unit number. Naturally, people will go for auspicious combos such as 16-88 (Mandarin/dialect sound like meaning 'prosper all the way'). Combo that is associated with ‘death’ (because 4 sounds like 死meaning dead) such as 04-44 (die, die, die),  01-74 (die together) are usually perceived as taboo. There are some who engage a psychic/master to divine a unit's auspiciousness  base on the unit number alone!

Are these the right way to go? I would say some of the above considerations are indeed important but they are not the key to good Feng Shui! 

Don’t believe me?

This is a typical high-rise apartment scenario. Now If you are there to decide based on above pointers, I guarantee you will be perplexed as some of these pointers contradicts one another.
  1. Unit A’s left is the stairway; it has the longest right side and according to form it is unbalanced Yin Yang and should be avoided if possible.
  2. Few years back, a master divine that unit A can't make good money but it prosper....
  3. Unit D configuration is the opposite of A. This formation usher noble man but it cost a life!
  4. All the units have the same facing but only unit A prospers. Why?
Do you see what I mean now?

What is Good Feng Shui?
The key to select good Feng Shui site lies within Feng (风) and Shui (水) i.e. harnessing Qi 氣
It is stated clearly as the first stanza in Qing Nan Executive Summary (青囊序):

楊公养老雌雄 天下諸书对不同
  金龍動不動,次察血脉認來龍…”
Briefly, it means:
Master Yang spend his lifetime 'Seeing' forms (雌雄) ...
Ascertain whether Golden Dragon (金龍) is activated .....

Hence, the key to an auspicious site is dictated by the time space alignment between Gold Dragon (Period) & Ci Xiong (Formation)
  • Biryani stall is beside the rubbish chute. Please dun tell me the boss who is a muslim engage a psychic to divine the shop prosperity before operating his business. 
  • Chinese stir fly has 2 entrances, front and right, so which is the facing? 
  • Rojak stall don't even have a proper door while its neighbor stall facing the road is as prosperous so void space at Tiger side (Right) makes money too! The same goes for the Money changer
  • Most importantly none of these have their door tilted to be prosperous! Hence form/facing/floor plans/number is not really the thing!
Got my point now?

Ghostly Gua - 鬼魂卦 (Re-blog from www.yxlfengshui.com)

I was having breakfast with my friend. She told me she was helping a family to rent out their common bed room.

She: I had been advertising for close to 1 year but have no viewings.

Me: hmm

She: Single mum with a kid staying in a 2 bed room unit.

Me: asking too high?

She: Her finance in bad shape, urgent to let, already price down. 

Me: Was it because of the location? 


She: I had a few similar units in my listing. But this unit was closer to the MRT and amenities.

I found it strange because somehow viewers preferred the others despite this unit had better location and lower rent.

How?


Me: (phone clock displayed 1027h )

A 3rd "resident" is staying in this unit. It is unhappy with her renting out the common room as it is living in there.


She: You psychic? How do u know? Hmm but I notice she had an empty altar. Was it the cause?

Me: Me no psychic, I don't know. Gua only say ...…

She: How? You can't expect me to tell her to engage a ghost buster and she really need the rental …

Me: You ask her to rent out the master room

She: You sure? Need effort to convince

Me: Goodness just try your best; there is nothing to loose ....

My friend spoke to me over the phone. 


She: hey rented out !

Me: Rent what?

She: The "thingy" unit lah

Me: Congrats

She: Last week I managed to convince her to rent out the master room. Something unbelievable happen

Me : What?

She: As soon as I published the amended listing, I started to receive enquiry about the unit. Finally viewings happened over the weekend. Deal closed with deposit. Tuesday just signed and today I still receiving room queries…

Me: So when will I receive my red packet?

She: Needy people lah, I did not receive comm for this. I will recommend you clients....

Me: What can I say ....

She: You going to teach this skill?

Me: What skill?

She: Ghost detection ha ha...

Me: ha ha

This is the XinYi Divination technique (心易占) which does not require rocking tortoise shell, software to plot Qi Men, 64 Hex chart etc but based on heart 心 that flows along with a conversation .....
